Guiding Frameworks

To help us manage our impacts and maximize the benefits to communities, we use a combination of internal and external frameworks. To this end, IAMGOLD has joined a number of international standards and working groups. These initiatives help ensure that we adhere to high standards from an economic, social and governance perspective.

Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

A multi-stakeholder organization committed to providing a sustainability reporting framework that is consistent, transparent and comparable. IAMGOLD adheres to the GRI reporting content guidelines when preparing the annual HSS report.

E3 Plus is a framework for responsible exploration. It provides a set of principles and guidance for exploration companies to continuously improve their social, environmental, and health and safety performance, and ultimately integrate these three aspects throughout all their exploration programs.

The IBAT was created through a partnership among BirdLife International, Conservation International, International Union for Conservation of Nature and UNEP World Conservation Monitoring Centre. It is a tool designed to provide accurate and up-to-date access to biodiversity information to support the critical business decisions of IAMGOLD.
